Talking about 'The Rifles' in 2012.......

Luke has taken some time out to let you know what the band have been up to and what 2012 holds for the band.

1. The Rifles Weekender is not too far away now, what tunes can we expect to hear?

We will be playing a mixture of old and new songs for the weekender but are looking at songs we may not have played before, or at least a long while songs like lost in london, talking, and some new that we haven't played yet like crybaby and so on we are major buzzing for these gigs coming up cannot wait to play some oldies aswell.

2. You mentioned on twitter a deluxe version of Freedom Run, can you tell us more?

We have finished a special deluxe version of freedom run that will feature unheard tracks and also a song you may of heard called IN KEY, this will be see a vinyl release and will feature the original black artwork and also complete alternate versions of every song on the album like first take of coming home and home demo of tangled up in love and so on.

3. What is the Rifles main goal to achieve in 2012?

So we have a lot to do this year we have already started work on the next album and are in to about 8 tracks now in there very early form we will keep you posted on progress and are hoping to release early next year. Also 2012 we will be playing festivals and are kicking off with V so keep a look out!

4. Will you be going to the Olympics?

Joels dad managed to get hold of some boxing tickets for the olympics so joel will definitely be attending!!
